Bollywood actor Rajkumar Rao’s latest Hindi cinema ‘Trapped’ grossed Rs 0.13 crore on 7th day of its release. Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, the movie witnessed about 2 to 5% occupancy on its first Thursday. After bagging an amount of Rs 0.13 crore on day 7, the film made a total business of Rs 2.23 crore at India’s box office.
Featuring Geetanjali Thapa in the main role opposite Rao, the celluloid kicked off its journey at box office with Rs 0.29 crore opening day collection. With a low start, the cinema succeeded in exhibiting growth in its business on weekend days. Showcasing a good improvement in its performance, the movie grossed Rs 0.45 crore and Rs 0.69 crore on 2nd and 3rd day, respectively.
After garnering an overall income of Rs 1.44 crore in weekend days, the celluloid reported drop in its earnings on Monday. Witnessing dull occupancy on 4th day, the cinema minted Rs 0.25 crore. Further experiencing a gradual declination in the box office income, the Hindi offering gathered a collection of Rs 0.21 crore on 5th day.
The movie exhibited a stagnant performance on Monday and Tuesday. With a steady fall in the business, the film bagged Rs 0.16 crore on Wednesday. The Bollywood offering pocketed a total income of Rs 2.10 crore in six days and observed a consistent drop in its earning on Thursday. Witnessing low occupancy on 7th day, the film collected Rs 0.13 crore and totalled an amount of Rs 2.23 crore in seven days.
