6th day collection of Tiger Zinda Hai full Hindi movie thundered Bollywood box office with its astounding performance on the Wednesday. The Hindi celluloid, which features famous megastar Salman Khan and popular Indian actress Katrina Kaif in prominent roles, emerged as one of the highest opening grosser movie of year 2017. However, the Bollywood offering could not beat Prabhas and Anushka Shetty starrer ‘Bahubali 2 : The Conclusion’ in the box office race.
Directed by renowned filmmaker Ali Abbas Jafar, the newly released action flick witnessed humongous occupancy in the morning shows. Continuing to face around 40% occupancy in the noon and evening shows, the latest Bollywood flick received massive response from the movie-watchers in various parts of India. Facing comparatively less occupancy in the cinema halls across south Indian states, the Hindi celluloid attracted a major chunk of spectators in central and northern states of the country.
Coming out from the controversy over screen counts in Maharashtra, the action thriller movie released on 5700 screens (4600 in India + 1100 in overseas) in the world. According to the experts and trade analysts, the newly released film might rake in a walloping income of Rs 33 crore on opening day. With such performance, box office collection of Tiger Zinda Hai will fail to surpass the earnings grossed by Salman Khan starrer ‘Sultan’ which had collected Rs 36.5 crore on opening day.
The second installment of ‘Tiger’ franchise may not fail to break the record of ‘Ek Tha Tiger‘ which had pocketed Rs 32.96 crore on first day of its release. Kick, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Tubelight are the leading actor’s illustrious movies which crossed Rs 20-crore mark on 1st day. Those cinemas could not earn more than Rs 30 crore on first Friday. Audiences are now eager to know whether the latest film of ‘Dabbang’ actor does or does not manage to create an unbeaten record in the opening weekend.
As the film has not witnessed box office clash with any movie which stars megastars in the main roles, it will be beneficial for the celluloid to divulge the attention of maximum number of film-goers.
