The Ghazi Attack, which is a latest Indian movie based on 1971 Indo-Pak war, made a total box office business of Rs 24.95 crore in the first five days of its first week in domestic arena. The multi-starrer celluloid witnessed around 11% occupancy on 7th day of its release. The film is expected to earn Rs 1.23 crore on 1st Thursday (23rd February, 2017).
Sankalp Reddy’s directorial venture, which is the first movie of his career as a director, has been released in Telugu and Hindi languages. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has lent his voice for the Hindi version of this movie while south Indian superstar Chiranjeevi has lent his voice for the film’s Telugu version. The movie’s both versions have surpassed double digit overall collection in first week.
Box office journey of Hindi version of The Ghazi Attack began with decent single digit first day collection of Rs 1.65 crore. The movie reported a little development in its income on second day and minted Rs 2.25 crore on Saturday. On 3rd day, which was Sunday, the multi-starrer cinema raked Rs 2.8 crore as its third day box office collection.
The celluloid witnessed decline in the earnings as it entered second week. The movie made a phenomenal business of Rs 1.55 crore on day four. Business of the flick remained steady on Tuesday as it grossed Rs 1.5 crore. After minting similar amounts on 4th and 5th day, the film reported increment in its earnings and made a business of Rs 2.4 crore on 6th day.
On other hand, the Telugu version of The Ghazi Attack performed quite well than the day wise business registered by the movie’s Hindi version. The film opened with Rs 2.6 crore opening day collection and bagged Rs 3.00 crore on 2nd day (Saturday, 18th February). The film reported hike in its income grossed on Sunday and made a collection of Rs 3.45 crore on 3rd day.
As the flick entered 2nd week, its business dropped with slight variance in its earnings. The film reported a collection of Rs 2.1 crore on 4th day. On 5th day, which was 1st Tuesday, the Indian movie based on suspicious destruction of PNS Ghazi witnessed declination in the earnings and raked an amount of Rs 1.65 crore. The film’s business further dropped on 6th day as it registered a business of Rs 1.1 crore on 1st Thursday.
