Suriya’s Singam 3 started its 14th day with witnessing around 14% occupancy in the morning shows. The movie is reporting a good occupancy in Telugu speaking states. The film has witnessed dull response in Indian states other than Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. The Telugu flick is expected to earn Rs 1 crore on day 14 of its release.

Starring Shurti Hassan and Anushka Shetty in the important roles alongside south Indian superstar Suriya, the third installment of Singam franchise has raked around 5 crore in second week of its release. As per Behindwoods, Telugu version of the film bagged Rs 1.13 crore in recent weekend days while the dubbed version of its in Tamil language reported Rs 2.16 crore collection.

Political issues in the state have impacted the film rigorously. The movie’s overall business is heading toward 100-crore club with its daily earnings. The celluloid reported a phenomenal business of Rs 60 crore, which includes the film’s income in international market as well as the box office collection of the movie in domestic arena.

The movie has been performing well in south Indian states. Bollywood movies have impacted more on the business of third part of Singam in the states in central India. Also the multilingual and multi-starrer The Ghazi Attack has arrived in theatres and is doing a competitive business. Hence, the public response for Singam 3 has minimized in cinema halls.

Box office collection of Singam 3 in overseas is not up to the mark. The Telugu flick pocketed around Rs 5 crore in foreign countries. The film is expected to see more competition at box office in coming days as Shahid Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut starrer Rangoon, which is slated to hit screens on 24th February, is expected to hurdle the box office journey of filmmaker Hari’s directorial venture.
