Sachin : A Billion Dreams Movie Worldwide Collection Day 1 Total Income Box Office Business Report : The much awaited biopic on Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar released in cinema halls on 26th May 2017. Releasing on 2400 screens in India, the sports-based celluloid witnessed 70% to 85% occupancy in morning shows on opening day. The film is expected to experience surge in the occupancy in its noon, evening and night shows.
Alongside receiving an ample response from the movie-watchers in India, the Bollywood flick gained a good response in overseas too. Featuring none other than the legendary cricketer in main lead and his companions Virendra Sehwag as well as Mahendra Singh Dhoni in supporting role, the multilingual offering reported average response from audiences in North and South India. As the cricketer hails from Marathi speaking state, he has a great number of fans there and hence his biopic witnessed helm occupancy in Maharashtra.
Hitting 800 screens in foreign countries, Sachin : A Billion Dreams movie received positive reviews from critics and good feedback from the spectators. Directed by popular filmmaker James Erskine, Sachin’s biopic showcased good performance in the international market. As the film is witnessing average occupancy in southern regions of the country, it is expected to collect a decent income as the first day business from its Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil versions. Marathi and Hindi versions of the film got maximum response in central India.

MS Dhoni – The Untold Story, which was based on the life story of former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, had made a business of Rs 136 crore in one month. The celluloid had commenced its box office journey with Rs 21.25 crore opening day collection.
