Taapsee Pannu, Amit Sadh and Arsh Brij starrer latest Bollywood movie Running Shaadi has reported much less occupancy on day 7. The film opened on a decent note on 23rd February and observed a steep drop in the audiences’ response. Movie-watchers across the nation have not responded the film with huge appreciations as Amir Roy’s directorial venture has totaled an overall collection of Rs 0.71 crore in six days of its release.

The romantic comedy drama is disaster in domestic arena as it has failed to overtake the other newly released Hindi cinemas in box office race. Running Shaadi has successfully surpassed the income of Rs 0.57 crore, earned by Sagarika Ghatge, Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi starrer Irada in its first weekend days.

In initial three days of release, the movie reported around 15% occupancy in northern India. In Punjab, Haryana and nearby areas, the movie-watchers preferred to watch this film which is a simple story of three crazy friends (Taapsee, Arsh and Amit). The story of three buddies, who make use of a matrimonial website for arranging marriages of lovers, impressed in the audiences only in first weekend.

As Huma Qureshi, Akshay Kumar and Anu Kapoor starrer Jolly LLB 2 is acquiring more occupancy in cinema halls than the new Hindi flicks, Running Shaadi witnessed quite a less response from the spectators in mid-Indian zone. The film observed less footfalls in the theatres and thus grossed minimum box office collection in six days of its release.

The movie exhibited very dull performance in the international market. The celluloid earned around Rs 0.01 crore in overseas. With a decent box office business in foreign countries, the movie has garnered an overall collection of Rs 0.71 crore. Hitting across some hundreds of screens in the nations other than India, the film has witnessed quite less response from the audiences.
