Kangana Ranaut, Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor starrer latest Hindi movie ‘Rangoon’ collected Rs 6.75 crore on third day. Witnessing about 20% occupancy on Sunday, the film totalled a business of Rs 18.25 crore in the weekend days. Vishal Bhardwaj’s directorial project received mixed reviews from critics and audiences in the initial three days of its release.
The celluloid, which is produced by Sajid Naidiadwala under the banner of Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, reported a big response in north and central Indian regions. In south Indian states, the Telugu version of ‘The Ghazi Attack’ and Hari’s film ‘Singam 3’ is having a good hold in several multiplexes across several states in the southern part of India.
The film raked an amount of Rs 6.07 crore and Rs 6 crore on first and second day respectively. The movie performed well in overseas also. Expanding its business in international market, the celluloid registered a business of Rs 0.59 crore in north American nations (which includes Canada and United States).
Further minting a single digit collection of Rs 0.11 crore in United Kingdom, the flick showcased that its performance is going excellently in other parts of the world. Shahid Kapoor’s celluloid made a business of Rs 0.09 crore in Australia. The film minted Rs 0.03 crore in New Zealand and Rs 0.02 crore in rest of the world. The movie has made a total worldwide collection of Rs 19.08 crore in three days.
