Anshai Lal’s directorial venture ‘Phillauri’ collected Rs 6.03 crore income on third day of its release. Witnessing growth in the occupancy, the Hindi offering reported about 30-35% occupancy in cinema halls and grossed a good income on Sunday. Till now, the movie has registered Rs 15.28 crore total box office collection in weekend days.

Produced by actress Anushka Sharma, the film released on 24th March and began its journey at box office with Rs 4.05 crore opening day collection. Witnessing average occupancy in cinema halls, the movie garnered average amount on day one. Showcasing growth in the business on second day, the celluloid minted Rs 5.20 crore on Saturday and totalled a collection of Rs 9.25 crore in two days.

Receiving more response on Sunday, Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh starrer flick raked Rs 6.03 crore collection on third day. Thus, the celluloid bagged Rs 15.25 crore total box office income in opening weekend. Adjacently released ‘Anaarkali Of Araah’ didn’t impact the business of film ‘Phillauri’ in first-three days of the opening week.

Apart from this excellent performance in domestic arena, the celluloid minted a total business of Rs 0.89 crore in overseas. Performing well in the foreign countries, the movie collected Rs 0.18 crore in United Kingdom, Rs 0.17 crore in Australia, Rs 0.48 crore in North American nations (Canada and United States) and Rs 0.06 crore in New Zealand. Thus, the Hindi offering has grossed Rs 22.07 crore worldwide collection. Latest box office figures are awaited.
