Nanu Ki Jaanu 4th Day Collection Total Box Office Business Worldwide Income : Abhay Deol and Patralekha starrer latest Hindi celluloid ‘Nanu Ki Jaanu’ has continued its steady run at India’s box office on day 2. The multi-starrer horror comedy flick, which was adjacently released to Hindi films ‘High Jack’ and ‘Beyond The Clouds’, witnessed less than 10% occupancy in Indian cinema halls on opening day. However, it is expected to face little growth in the occupancy on weekend days.

Faraz Haider’s directorial maintained consistency in its performance on day 2. The Bollywood offering, which faced box office clash with Mahesh Babu, Kiara Advani and Prakash Raj starrer new Telugu movie ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’, witnessed steady occupancy in morning shows on Saturday. The theatre occupancy declined by few percentage in the noon shows. However, it is expected to soar in the evening and night shows on second day of release.

Parallely released Indian cinemas ‘High Jack’ and ‘Beyond The Clouds’ too competed against Koratala Siva’s directorial venture in south Indian states. The Bollywood movies had no screening in the Tamil and Telugu speaking regions where the public is majorly addicted to watch only Tollywood and Tamil cinemas. Thinking that the movies won’t receive humongous response in those regions, filmmakers decided not to release the film in southern part of India.

Releasing on less than 500 screens in central and northern states of the country, all three Hindi movies which were released this Friday gained mixed reviews from the critics. Bollywood movies ‘Baaghi 2’ and ‘Raid’, which have been ruling the box office since day 1 of their releases and have earned a huge box office collection in India, have still grasped a strong hold in some cinema halls. The latest Hindi released faced major impact on their performances due to the box office clashes with these Bollywood offerings. Let’s see how these cinemas continue to perform at Indian box office.
