Newly released multi-starrer Hindi movie ‘Naam Shabana’ minted Rs 0.95 crore income on 2nd Friday as its 8th day box office collection. Surpassing the 28-crore mark, the celluloid bagged a total business of Rs 28.50 crore in eight days. The Bollywood flick witnessed drop in the occupancy on 7th April as several other Indian movies hit screens on that day.
Featuring Taapsee Pannu and Manoj Bajpayee in significant roles, the Hindi offering succeeded in breaking the records of Taapsee’s previous cinema ‘Running Shaadi’. The celluloid is heading towards 30-crore club with a steady income in second weekend. The cinema faced box office clash with fresh Bollywood releases – ‘Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laaddoo Deewana’ and ‘Mirza Juuliet’.
Apart from the box office competition with these latest flicks, Shivam Nair’s multilingual movie reported declination in the audiences’ response as Aditi Rao and Karthi starrer latest Tamil flick divulged a big number of spectators. On Friday, movie-watchers enjoyed battle between the two films in the form of the collision among their box office earnings.

Till now, the movie has grossed Rs 32.55 crore as its worldwide business. The cinema minted Rs 2.15 crore in UAE and garnered Rs 1.05 crore in Canada and US. The film collected Rs 0.14 crore in Australia and Rs 0.18 crore in UK. Apart from the business in these regions, the Indian flick pocketed Rs 0.05 crore in New Zealand and Rs 0.47 crore from other part of the world.
