Naam Shabana 7th Day Collection 1st Thursday Occupancy Box Office Report

Bollywood movie ‘Naam Shabana’ grossed Rs 1.6 crore income as its 7th day box office collection and witnessed a gradual drop in the occupancy on 1st Thursday. The celluloid has been showcasing excellent performance at India’s box office. With an addition of the amount minted on day 7, the film grossed an overall business of Rs 27.65 crore in seven days.

The multi-starrer Hindi flick, which features Manoj Bajpayee, Taapsee Pannu, Anupam Kher and Akhshay Kumar, reported a slight declination in the responses from audiences. The movie witnessed declined occupancy in evening and night shows as a huge number of public is preferring to watch Indian Premier League matches which are played at 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM regularly as per the schedule.

The movie’s dubbing in Tamil and Telugu language has benefited the filmmakers with an extra revenue. Releasing on more than 2000 screens in India, the Indian offering minted Rs 18.66 crore income in initial three days of release. After garnering a whopping amount in the weekend days, the film reported a sharp decline in the box office earnings in first week.

On Monday, the movie made a business of Rs 2.54 crore. Keeping consistency in exhibiting awesome performance in multiplexes and theatres, the celluloid curbed Rs 2.50 crore income on Tuesday. The film’s business mitigated on Wednesday as it raked Rs 1.85 crore amount on Indian box office on day 6. Showcasing usual drop in the income, the Bollywood cinema amassed Rs 1.60 crore collection on seventh day.

Not only in central Indian states but also in south Indian zones, Shivam Nair’s directorial venture performed outstandingly. On eighth day, the movie is going to face box office clash with Aditi Rao Hyderi and Karthi starrer Tamil flick ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’ which is slated to hit screens on 7th April. It will be quite interesting see the battle between Naam Shabana 8th day business and Kaatru Veliyidai 1st day collection in Tamil speaking state on this Friday.

  1. Wow. This is beyond the expectations. The movie has performed quite well in the first week of its release. May it continue with same pace and earn a big amount by the end of second week.

    • I think the movie earned about Rs 5 crore in overseas. The film received maximum response in United States and UAE than any other country except India.
