Directed Shivam Nair, latest Hindi movie ‘Naam Shabana’ registered a business of Rs 1.85 crore on 5th day. Total box office collection of this film in five days is reported to be Rs 23.08 crore. Receiving comparatively lesser response than opening weekend, the Bollywood offering witnessed about 20% drop in its business on 1st Tuesday.
The movie showcased spectacular performance in most of the major states in India. Kicking off its journey on Indian box office, the film minted Rs 5.12 crore income on opening day. After earning a whopping first day collection, the movie exhibited growth in its box office business on second day and garnered Rs 6.37 crore on Saturday.
Witnessing more hike in the theatre occupancy on Sunday, the celluloid grossed Rs 7.27 crore income on 3rd day. Thus, the movie made a business of Rs 18.84 crore in weekend days. After grabbing a satisfactory amount in first-three days of release, the Hindi offering reported drop in occupancy on Monday and collected Rs 2.50 crore amount on 4th day.
Witnessing gradual declination in the earnings at domestic arena, the film registered a business of Rs 1.85 crore on fifth day of its release. Thus, the movie bagged an overall amount of Rs 23.08 crore as its total box office collection in India. The film is expected to maintain consistency in its performance in domestic regions.
Apart from pocketing a big income after hitting 2100 screens in India, Taapsee Pannu and Manoj Bajpayee starrer flick excelled in amassing a handsome amount of income in foreign countries. Starring Akshay Kumar in cameo appearance, the Bollywood movie received low response in overseas and made an average business in the international market.
