Directed by India’s popular filmmakers Abbas and Mastan, newly released Bollywood movie ‘Machine’ registered a business of Rs 0.17 crore on 7th day. The film, which marks the debut of Mustafa Burmawalla, reported gradual drop in its earnings grossed on Indian box office on 1st Thursday. The celluloid collected Rs 2.77 crore total box office collection in seven days.
Hitting more than 400 screens in India, the Hindi offering showcased awesome performance in domestic arena. Though the celluloid faced immense box office competition with adjacently released movies – ‘Aa Gaya Hero’ and ‘Trapped’, it kept consistency in grossing a good revenue at India’s box office. The movie started its box office journey with Rs 0.6 crore opening day collection.
The film reported drop in its business on Saturday and collected Rs 0.5 crore on 2nd day of release. After surpassing Rs 1 crore collection in two days, the Hindi offering experienced growth in its box office earnings on 3rd day and collected an income of Rs 0.6 crore on Sunday. Thus, the movie totalled a business of Rs 1.75 crore in the weekend days.
On Monday, the film witnessed comparatively low response and raked an amount of Rs 0.40 crore on fourth day. Bagging less income of Rs 0.35 crore, the celluloid exhibited usual declination in its box office collection. The movie showcased poor performance on fifth day and grossed an amount of Rs 0.15 crore on sixth day. By grossing a steady income of Rs 0.16 crore on Thursday, the Bollywood flick gathered an overall collection of Rs 2.77 crore in first week.
