Kiara Advani starrer latest Bollywood flick ‘Machine’ collected Rs 0.17 crore on fifth day of its release. The celluloid, which marks the debut of its director’s son Mustafa, witnessed poor occupancy on 1st Tuesday and reported drop in the audiences’ response. The action thriller film has raked Rs 1.89 crore total box office collection in five days.

Directed by popular filmmakers Abbas and Mastan, the movie ‘Machine’ opened to a decent occupancy on first day. The cinema, which hit the screens on 17th March this year, faced box office clash with newly released offerings – ‘Aa Gaya Hero’ and ‘Trapped’. Apart from these parallel releases, the celluloid also experienced box office competition with ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’.

Kicking off the box office journey with Rs 0.25 crore opening day collection, the film ‘Machine’ received average response from the spectators in cinema halls. The Bollywood flick witnessed a little growth in its business on Saturday and Sunday. Reporting around 15% occupancy in weekend days, the celluloid minted Rs 1.65 crore total income in first-three days.

However, the film saw unusual declination in the earnings on 4th day. The movie minted some 35 lakhs on Monday and showcased drop in its performance in the domestic market. Exhibiting dull performance in overseas, the film grossed zero business in the international arena. However, the movie’s total box office earnings are expected to enter 5-crore club by the end of first week.
