Latest Hollywood movie ‘Logan’ minted Rs 5.75 crore box office collection on 2nd day of its release. With the business on 1st Saturday, Hugh Jackman’s film grossed an overall collection of Rs 10.5 crore in India. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “

On 1st Saturday, the celluloid earned $31.2 million in North American countries. The flick is expected to amass $70 million collection in weekend days. The film is performing excellently in overseas while in India, it is facing a box office competition with newly released multi-starrer Bollywood action thriller movie ‘Commando 2 : The Black Money Trail’.
Logan is also experiencing a box office clash with ‘The Ghazi Attack’, which has been released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages in India. The American superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character Wolverine pocketed $237 million box office business in the weekend days. In the initial three-days of first week, the celluloid earned $152.5 million in international market.
Exhibiting superb performance in the overseas, Logan film grossed $11.4 million in the United Kingdom, $7.1 million in Russia, $46.3 million in China, $8.2 million in South Korea and in Brazil. After earning a whopping amount in the initial three days of first week, the Hollywood action cinema is expected to bag about $400 million in the opening week.
