First Indian-Chinese film ‘Kung Fu Yoga’ made an overall business of 963 million yuan ($USD 140 million) in China. The movie, which hit screens on January 28, failed to gross a huge box office collection in India. In international market, the celluloid bagged USD$ 255 million total worldwide box office collection in one month. The action-adventure comedy cinema, which is directed by Stanley Tong, also experienced competition with other Hindi films.
The film released in India on 3rd February 2017 and minted Rs 47 lacs opening day box office collection. As the audiences’ attention was divulged to the newly released Bollywood flicks, Sonu Sood’s first movie of year 2017 couldn’t perform well at India’s box office.
