Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan’s latest action drama ‘Katamarayudu’ grossed Rs 2.75 crore income as its 6th day collection. The celluloid, which also features south Indian actress Shruti Hassan in main lead, witnessed declination in the theatre occupancy on its first Wednesday in Indian cinema. The movie has bagged Rs 46.10 crore total box office collection in six days.
Releasing on more than hundreds of screens in Andhra Pradesh (A/P) and Telangana on 24th March, the Telugu offering garnered Rs 22.25 crore whopping opening day amount. With a jackpot first day collection, the south Indian flick experienced drop in its business on 2nd day and pocketed Rs 5.10 crore on Saturday. The cinema totalled Rs 27.35 crore income in two days.
With a massive double digit income in first two days, the celluloid showcased more development in its performance on Indian box office and minted Rs 8.90 crore collection on 3rd day. After seeing hike in the earnings on Sunday, the movie witnessed drop in the theatre occupancy and grossed Rs 4 crore income on fourth day (Monday) of its release.
