7th day collection of Judwaa 2 gradually dropped with the decline in audiences’ response. Hitting 4125 screens across the world, the latest Hindi movie pocketed a walloping amount of Rs 85.30 crore in five days. Beating the earnings minted by Badrinath Ki Dulhania in 5 days, the celluloid became as fourth highest opener movie of the year.

Directed by renowned filmmaker David Dhawan, the romantic comedy film showcased marvelous performance at domestic platform. Earning Rs 16.10 crore total collection on first day, the Hindi offering took great start to its box office journey. With a positive word of mouth, the multi-starrer cinema faced huge occupancy on 1st day of its release. Witnessing humongous box office clash with ‘Spyder‘ and ‘Jai Lava Kusa‘, the Bollywood offering gained low response in south Indian states.

After bagging a walloping income on day 1, Varun Dhawan starrer romcom flick jumped to the next height of success in terms of box office earnings and pocketed a walloping income of Rs 20.55 crore on 2nd day. As the day was celebrated as Dussehra in various parts of the country, Indian citizens had free time to enjoy watching the movie in cinema halls and theatres. Thus day 2 was quite beneficial for the film to earn a huge monetary profit.

Sunday too assisted the celluloid in reaching new level by giving a chance for the film to earn a big income. In morning shows, the occupancy was much more than the occupancy on Friday and Saturday. In noon shows, the public response didn’t remain same as major chunk of audiences preferred to watch the fifth one-day-international match played between India and Australia at Vidarbha Cricket Association Ground, Nagpur.

Apart from the excellent performance in India, the Hindi celluloid also performed admirably in the overseas. Witnessing a huge box office clash with newly released Hollywood movies, Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer new Hindi movie pocketed minimum income in the international market. The film earned Rs 1.43 crore in United Kingdom, Rs 1.01 crore in Australia and Rs 0.81 crore in New Zealand. Stay tuned to us to get latest box office update of Judwaa 2.
