AKshay Kumar’s ‘Jolly LLB 2’ movie has completed five weeks in the cinema halls and has raked Rs 0.03 crore in the 5th week. The film grossed some 10 lakhs on 35th day of its release. The film, which starred Huma Qureshi, Anu Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla and Sayani Gupta in major roles, has minted a total collection of Rs 115.32 crore in 35 days.

Subhash Kapoor directed courtroom drama witnessed huge drop in the response from audiences in third and fourth week. The Hindi flick, which has been produced under the banner of ‘Star Fox Studios’, grossed a low income of Rs 8.35 crore and Rs 2.25 crore in 3rd and 4th week, respectively. The sequel to ‘Jolly LLB’ exhibited poor but steady performance in 5th week and showcased that it is still having a good hold in cinema halls.

After Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’, the second installment of ‘Jolly LLB’ franchise obtained huge response from audiences and collected an overall income of Rs 195 crore. With this whopping worldwide box office collection, the film became Bollywood’s second highest grosser movie of this year. The celluloid is expected to enter 200-crore total business by the end of seventh week.

Releasing across more than 3500 screens in India, ‘Jolly LLB 2’ showcased awesome performance in central and north India. The film gained comparatively less response in south Indian states as Suriya starrer ‘Singam 3’ had a good hold in the initial week of Jolly LLB 2’s release. Apart from the huge collection in domestic arena, Akshay Kumar’s movie also exhibited excellent performance in overseas and bagged Rs 35.79 crore in the international market.
