Huma Qureshi and Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2 has completed almost one month in Indian cinema. The celluloid has raked a total box office collection of Rs 115.55 crore in 32 days. The movie, which also stars Anu Kapoor, Sayani Gupta and Saurabh Shukla in major roles, witnessed about 1-2% occupancy on 32nd day and collected an amount of Rs 0.02 crore.
Subhash Kapoor’s directorial venture is currently facing box office clash with Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan starrer latest Hindi movie ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’. As the courtroom drama is experiencing a box office competition with Shashak Khaitan’s romantic film, the audiences’ response for it has declined gradually in the fourth week of its release.
Hitting across more than 3000 screens in India and around 800 screens in overseas, the second installment of Jolly LLB franchise grossed a total box office collection of Rs 194.46 crore in one month. Currently, the movie is showcasing poor performance in foreign countries as it is getting no response from the audiences in cinema halls.
The sequel to Jolly LLB to commenced its journey at box office with splendid collection of Rs 13.2 crore. The film’s business culminated on second and third day and the movie grossed Rs 17.31 crore and Rs 19.95 crore on those days, respectively. The celluloid minted Rs 50.46 crore in opening weekend and entered 50-crore club.
The movie experienced drop in the box office business in second week and bagged Rs 46.47 crore. Facing further declination in the earnings in following week, the film collected Rs 8.35 crore in third week. Jolly LLB 2 collected Rs 2.25 crore in fourth week. The movie also performed well in overseas and grossed an overall collection of Rs 34.61 crore in foreign countries.
