Akshay Kumar and Huma Qureshi starrer movie ‘Jolly LLB 2’ has collected a total box office income of Rs 115.32 crore in India. The film performed quite well in the overseas and raked an overall business of Rs 34.79 crore in the international market. The multi-starrer Bollywood film grossed Rs 0.43 crore on 25th day of its release in the theatres.
Subhash Kapoor’s directorial venture kicked off its box office journey with whopping Rs 13.2 crore first day collection. The movie reported culmination in the collection at BO on second day and minted Rs 17.31 crore on first Saturday. Witnessing more growth in the overall income, Anu Kapoor starrer courtroom drama grossed an amount of Rs 19.95 crore on third day.
The movie’s collection declined in second week as it grossed Rs 45.12 crore in that week. As the film witnessed box office competition with SRK’s movie ‘Raees’, Hrithik Roshan’s film ‘Kaabil’ and Vishal Bhardwaj’s directorial cinema ‘Rangoon’, its income dropped again in third week. After garnering a good business in 2nd week, the celluloid made a box office collection of Rs 8.21 crore in the 3rd week.
Produced under the banner of ‘Star Fox Studios’, Saurabh Shukla and Sayani Gupta starrer Hindi movie collected Rs 11.02 crore in north American countries (United States and Canada), Rs 2.55 crore in United Kingdom, Rs 1.95 crore Australia, Rs 12.03 crore in United Arab Emirates, Rs 0.03 crore in Malaysia, Rs 0.93 crore in New Zealand, Rs 0.01 crore in Germany and Rs 6.27 crore in rest of the world.
