Subhash Kapoor’s film has impressed a major chunk of audiences with its fabulous story. The film has grossed an overall box office collection of Rs 139.40 crore in twelve days of its release. The celluloid reported 23% occupancy in morning shows on day 13. The film reported a hike in the occupancy in noon, evening and night shows. The movie is expected to earn Rs 2.14 crore on 2nd Wednesday.
Beating the other newly released Hindi cinemas, Akshay Kumar and Huma Qureshi starrer latest Bollywood flick managed to divulge average amount of movie-watchers on February 22. Though the movie is competing with The Ghazi Attack, Running Shaadi, Irada and Chauhar at box office, it has succeeded in earning a satisfactory income of 13th day.
As the Khiladi actor has a big number of fan following north Indian region, his latest Hindi flick has bagged a huge occupancy in Punjab, Haryana and some parts in New Delhi. The theatres in these areas are witnessing a massive number of footfalls. The film reported around 16% occupancy in the upper region of the country.
While in central India, the response for celluloid was average of day 13. The film reported around 7 to 10% occupancy in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and the regions nearby. The movie is confronting with Shruti Hassan, Anushka Shetty and Suriya starrer Singam 3 in south Indian states. The second installment of Jolly LLB franchise is witnessing damn low occupancy in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
The movie is set to face more competition with upcoming Bollywood movie Rangoon, which is slated to hit screens on 24th of this month. Shahid Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut starrer film will be a tough competitor of Jolly LLB 2. The celluloid is expected to experience a sharp decline in the audiences’ response in coming days of this week.
