Latest Bollywood movie ‘Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai’ collected Rs 16 lakhs in first week. The film opened on a silent note as it faced box office clash with adjacently released Bollywood celluloid ‘Commando 2 : The Black Money Trail’. The romantic drama, which has been produced by Purnima Mead under the banner of ‘Bibia Films Private Ltd’, reported poor response from audiences.
Releasing across more than 450 screens in India, ‘Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai’ movie opened to about 20-25% occupancy on 3rd March. The film continued to receive similar amount of response from the audiences in theatres. The box office competition with Vidyut Jamwal, Adah Sharma and Esha Gupta starrer film impacted the business of Arbaaz Khan’s movie.
The celluloid, which also stars Rati Agnihotri, Ashutosh Rana, Himansh Kohli, Prem Chopra, Supriya Pathak and Manjari Fadnis in lead roles, witnessed very poor response from the spectators in the cinema halls. Reporting around 20 to 25% occupancy in opening weekend, the Hindi flick grossed a collection of Rs 10 lakhs in the weekend days.
With the release of ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, attention of the mobs got diverted and ‘Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai’ experienced huge declination in the theatre occupancy. The cinema raked Rs 6 lakhs in the remaining four days of the first week. The film did no business in the overseas as the foreign audiences has been busy watching the newly released Hollywood flicks.
