11th day collection of Telugu movie ‘Jai Simha’ at Indian box office was average. Overseas business added average income to total worldwide earnings grossed by the Tollywood flick. Releasing on limited number of screens in south Indian states, Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer latest Telugu films took good start to its box office journey in domestic arena.
Directed by K. S. Ravikumar, the Tollywood offering witnessed around 30-40% occupancy in the morning, noon, evening and night shows on Friday. Featuring Nayanthara, Natasha Doshi and Hariprriya in main roles, the Telugu movie received mixed reviews from the critics. Facing average occupancy on the opening day, C Kalyan’s latest production is expected to perform well in the weekend days.
Produced under the banner of ‘CK Entertainments’, the newly released Telugu film received good response in Telugu speaking states. Opening to an expected occupancy in the cinema halls situated in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, the south Indian offering drove maximum attention of spectators in the theatres.
Featuring Jagapati Babu and Prakash Raj in key roles, the Tollywood flick reportedly collected Rs 38.5 crore through its pre-release business in India as well as in the international market. The film earned Rs 7.5 crore through broadcast rights and Rs 4 crore through Dubbing, Satellite & other Estimates. Being 102nd film of superstar NBK, the Telugu offering is expected to amass more than Rs 50 crore box office collection in first weekend.
