Half Girlfriend Movie 5 Days Collection Total Income Box Office Business Report : Releasing on 2500 screens in India, latest Bollywood film Half Girlfriend earned a total business of Rs 41.44 crore in five days. Witnessing a gradual drop in the earnings, the Hindi celluloid minted Rs 4.00 crore on fifth day of its release. The romantic offering is expected to experience growth in its business in the coming days.
Receiving a stagnant response from the audiences on day 5, the celluloid witnessed about 10% to 15% occupancy in the morning shows. In noon and evening shows, the Bollywood flick reported slight hike in the same and garnered Rs 1.47 crore less amount than the business made on first Monday. Directed by Mohit Suri, the Hindi offering is expected to get steady response in week days.
Performing well in the opening weekend, the Bollywood movie grossed Rs 32.04 crore income in initial three days. With a sudden drop in the overall earnings on 4th day, the celluloid recorded a total business of Rs 5.40 crore. Starring Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor in leading roles, the Hindi film witnessed 47% drop in its box office earnings in the remaining days of first week.
Commencing the box office journey on higher note, the Bollywood cinema collected Rs 10.27 crore income on first day. Experiencing a little increment in the overall business, the film amassed Rs 10.63 crore amount on day 2. With a gradual improvement in the box office collection, the celluloid bagged Rs 11.14 crore on third day of its release. Though there has been a tough competition on Indian box office, the Hindi offering maintained its influence over the audiences.
Adjacently released Hindi Medium movie collected Rs 14.53 crore box office income in four days. Featuring Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar in main characters, the movie raked a business of Rs 12.56 crore in opening weekend. Witnessing comparatively less occupancy than Half Girlfriend, the Bollywood flick bagged Rs 3.06 crore collection in two days. The movie made collections of Rs 2.81 crore on first day, Rs 4.25 crore on 2nd day and Rs 5.50 crore on 3rd day of its release.
Apart from the box office clash with the Bollywood films, the movie also witnessed massive competition with Bahubali 2 : The Conclusion on Indian box office. Witnessing ample occupancy in cinema halls and multiplexes, SS Rajamouli’s directorial venture pocketed Rs 970 income as Bahubali 2 26 days business. Shraddha Kapoor’s latest romantic film didn’t receive huge occupancy in south Indian states as Prabhas starrer celluloid has a good hold there.
