Golmaal Again box office collection reached to next level on 5th day. Total business of the film, including overseas earnings and domestic income, surpassed Rs 90 crore club. Featuring Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tabu, Pariniti Chopra, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Khemu, Tussar Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Prakash Raj in prominent roles, the latest Hindi release created new record on Indian box office.

Commencing the box office journey on higher note, the comedy action offering minted a walloping income of Rs 30.14 crore on opening day. Witnessing about 80% occupancy in the morning, noon, evening and night shows, the Bollywood flick received humongous response from the audiences in central and northern part of India. The celluloid gained less response in south Indian states.

After taking flying start to the box office journey with whopping first day income, Rohit Shetty’s directorial venture faced slight drop in the public response on Saturday and bagged Rs 28.37 crore total amount on second day of release. The Hindi celluloid pocketed an overall income of Rs 58.51 crore in two days. Showcasing superb performance in overseas, the raked in $ 2.32 million [₹ 15.09 cr] in the international market.

Newly released Tamil movie ‘Mersal‘ too showcased incredible performance on Indian as well as foreign box office. Atlee’s directorial project kick started the journey with grabbing Rs 47.1 crore worldwide box office collection on first day. The action thriller flick continued to exhibit monstrous performance in the weekend and collected $ 967,487 in USA and $ 203,081 in Canada.

Continuing to earn a huge income in the overseas market, superstar Vijay starrer movie minted NZ$ 20,573 [₹ 9.32 lakhs] in New Zealand and MYR 2,054,499 [₹ 3.16 cr] in Malaysia. The celluloid pocketed £ 283,359 [₹ 2.43 cr] in United Kingdom and A$ 345,239 [₹ 1.76 cr] in Australia. Featuring three heroines opposite triple roles of Vijay, the south Indian flick entered 100-crore club in first weekend.

Adjacently released Telugu movie ‘Raja The Great‘ performed outstandingly in Indian as well as foreign market. The Tollywood cinema agglomerated $ 295,800 [₹ 1.92 cr] in United States of America. The celluloid received thumping response from the audiences and collected a walloping amount of Rs 28 crore on Indian box office. Ravi Teja starrer film is expected to cross 50-crore mark by the end of first week.

Aamir Khan starrer new Bollywood movie ‘Secret Superstar‘ showcased massive growth in its performance on day 2, but unfortunately witnessed steep drop in the earnings on Saturday. The family entertainer minted Rs 22.75 crore total business in three days. In overseas, the Hindi flick received moderate response from the film-watchers.
