According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, the Hindi offering minted a thumping income of Rs 30 crore on first day of its release. Beating the previous records of first three installments of ‘Golmaal‘ series, Rohit Shetty’s directorial venture emerged as one of the highest grosser cinema of his career. The multi-starrer celluloid is expected to earn huge collection in weekend days.
Performing well in Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi and several other states in central and northern India, the 4th sequel of ‘Golmaal‘ bagged whopping business on opening day. Continuing to perform well, the action flick clashed with latest Telugu cinema ‘Raja The Great‘. Ravi Teja’s movie experienced immense drop in the public response due to adjacently released film and grossed $ 176,809 in USA.
Starring south Indian superstar Vijay in leading role, ‘Mersal‘ film commenced its box office journey on higher note. The celluloid not only grabbed massive response in India but also attracted a huge number of spectators in the foreign countries.
