Gujarati movie ‘Devang’, which hit screens on 17th March 2017, witnessed average response from the audiences in morning shows. As the newly released ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ has a good hold in most of the cinema halls and multiplexes in Gujarat, ‘Devang’ film is facing box office clash with Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer Bollywood flick.
Directed by Irsan Trivedi, the Gujarati celluloid opened to a decent occupancy on the first day. The film is showcasing a good performance in mega cities like Surat, Ahmadabad and nearby regions. Priyankk, Anita Purswani and Mihit Raval starrer latest offering is endeavoring to divulge a big number of spectators so as to score a good box office figure on day 1.
The action thriller offering is expected to earn Rs 0.03 crore on opening day. The film, trailer of which received average response from public, got mixed reviews from the critics. Though it’s songs gained fabulous backing from the crowds in the state, the celluloid struggling hard to make a satisfactory business in the first week of its release in domestic arena.
Hitting across about hundreds of screens in Gujarat, the movie is expected to report a good collection at India’s box office. ‘Devang’ movie isn’t facing box office clash with any local language movie as no Gujarat film other than it has been released in theatres in this week. Filmmakers are expecting their cinema to perform well in the absence of less competition at box office.
