Adah Sharma, Vidyut Jamwal and Esha Gupta starrer latest Bollywood flick ‘Commando 2 : The Black Money Trail’ grossed Rs 23.07 crore in two weeks. The celluloid performed comparatively poor in second week as it experienced box office clash with newly released Hindi movie ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’. ‘Commando 2’ earned Rs 1.57 crore in second week.

The second installment of ‘Commando : A One Man Army’ witnessed tremendous drop in the audiences’ response in 2nd week. Failing to maintain consistency in the box office earnings, the action thriller offering reported about 30% decrease in the business. The film, which totalled about Rs 21 crore in first week, didn’t manage to compete with the fresh releases.

Releasing on 1400 screens in India on 3rd March, Deven Bhojani’s directorial venture kicked off its box office journey with Rs 5.14 crore first day collection. The movie witnessed little decline in the earnings on second day and minted Rs 4.42 crore on its first Saturday in Indian cinema.

Taking a jump on Sunday, the film reported hike in the business and grossed collection of Rs 6.17 crore on its 3rd day at India’s box office. The celluloid raked Rs 2.34 crore on Monday and witnessed a gradual drop in the box office business on following days. The movie collected Rs 1.93 crore on Tuesday, Rs 1.64 crore on Wednesday and Rs 1.43 crore on Thursday.

Apart from the success in domestic arena, Vidyuta Jamwal’s film also performed well in overseas. The movie minted Rs 0.11 crore in North American countries (United States and Canada), Rs 0.02 crore in Australia and Rs 0.06 crore in New Zealand.
