Action hero Vidyut Jamwal’s latest Bollywood movie ‘Commando 2’ collected Rs 1.43 crore on 7th day of its release. The movie witnessed about 20-25% occupancy on first Thursday. Esha Gupta and Adah Sharma starrer Hindi flick has bagged a total collection of Rs 23.07 crore in seven days and is expected to enter 25-crore club by the second weekend.
Hitting across more than 1400 screens in India, the action thriller celluloid minted Rs 5.14 crore on opening day. The celluloid reported declination in the box office earnings on second day and grossed Rs 4.42 crore on 1st Saturday. The movie’s income culminated on third day and it registered a business of Rs 6.17 crore on 1st Sunday of its release.
After grossing an overall business of Rs 15.73 crore in first three-days of opening weekend, Deven Bhojani’s directorial project minted Rs 2.34 crore on Monday. Further witnessing a gradual drop in the box office business on following days, the movie collected Rs 1.93 crore on Tuesday, Rs 1.64 crore on Wednesday and Rs 1.43 crore on Thursday.
The sequel to ‘Commando : A One Man Army’ gained dull response in the foreign countries. The film bagged Rs 0.11 crore in North American countries (United States and Canada). The movie madea business of Rs 0.02 crore in Australia and Rs 0.06 crore in New Zealand. Thus, the cinema pocketed a total collection of Rs 0.2 crore at the international box office.
