Esha Gupta and Vidyut Jamwal starrer latest Hindi cinema ‘Commando 2 : The Black Money Trail’, which also features Adah Sharma in lead roles, collected Rs 6.19 crore on 3rd day. The film grossed a total business of Rs 15.75 crore in first-three days of its release. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “

Deven Bhojani’s directorial project commenced its journey at box office with Rs 5.14 crore first day collection. The film witnessed drop in its earnings on second day and pocketed Rs 4.42 crore as its second day collection. Curbing Rs 6.19 crore amount on third day, the celluloid totalled Rs 15.75 crore overall box office collection.
Produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, ‘Commando 2’ faced box office clash with Shahid Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan starrer film ‘Rangoon’. As the film has been released in Telugu as well as Tamil languages, it also faced box office competition with Suriya’s ‘Singam 3’ and multilingual movie ‘The Ghazi Attack’ in south Indian states.
The second part of ‘Commando : A One Man Army’ received poor response in the overseas. The movie pocketed Rs 0.11 crore in North American countries (Canada and United States). The celluloid registered a business of Rs 0.02 crore in Australia and Rs 0.06 crore in New Zealand. Thus, the film bagged a total income of Rs 0.2 crore in international market.
