Multi-starrer Hindi movie ‘Begum Jaan’ reportedly made a business of Rs 1.50 crore as its 5th day collection. The celluloid witnessed gradual drop in the theatre occupancy on Tuesday (18th April) and garnered an average income on that day. Directed by India’s popular filmmaker Srijit Sarkar, the Bollywood flick has grossed Rs 15.01 crore total box office collection in five days.
Featuring Gauhar Khan, Naseeruddin Shah, Chunky Pandey, Ashish Vidyarthi and Vidya Balan in significant roles, the newly released Bollywood movie showcased declination in its performance on Tuesday. After it entered the week days, the celluloid witnessed drop in the occupancy. The Hindi offering grossed Rs 1.93 crore collection on 4th day (Monday).
Though the celluloid had a grand opening weekend, it failed to maintain consistency in its performance after three days. The movie collected Rs 3.94 crore on first day of its release. After the grossing an average amount on day 1, the film witnessed drop in the business on following day and minted Rs 3.51 crore income on day 2. Thus, the movie pocketed Rs 7.45 crore in two days.
On Sunday, the movie experienced a little hike in its earnings and garnered Rs 4.03 crore income as its third day collection. The movie showcased growth in its business on the weekend day. After the first weekend, the film didn’t manage to journey with a consistent earnings. The Hindi cinema totalled a business of Rs 13.41 crore on Indian box office in four days.
