Produced under the banner of Dharma Production, Karan Johar’s newly released Hindi movie ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ grossed Rs 6.05 crore on 6th day of its release. The film has collected a total box office amount of Rs 62.28 crore in six days. Also the celluloid has reported a worldwide overall collection of Rs 105.27 crore in first-six days of the opening week.
After having a grand opening with a collection of Rs 43 crore in the first weekend, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan starrer romantic movie reported declination in its business. The film, which grossed Rs 12.06 crore on fourth day of its release, witnessed drop in the income on fifth day and collected an amount of Rs 7.15 crore on Tuesday.
Further witnessing a little decline in the earnings on Wednesday, the celluloid bagged Rs 6.05 crore box office collection on sixth day of its release. Till now, the film has totalled an income of Rs 62.28 crore in domestic market. The movie’s worldwide total becomes Rs 105.27 crore, with the addition of Rs 18.77 crore overseas collection in the business at India’s box office.
The celluloid not only showcased a good performance in India but also gained a good response from audiences in the foreign countries. The movie earned Rs 1.44 crore in UK, Rs 5.71 crore in Canada and US, Rs 0.07 crore in Germany, Rs 0.66 crore in New Zealand, Rs 0.02 crore in Malaysia, Rs 0.84 crore in Australia and Rs 10.03 crore from rest of the world. Shashank Khaitan’s directorial project is expected to enter 100-crore club in domestic arena by the end of second week.
