Produced by Karan Johar, the latest Bollywood movie ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ made a collection of Rs 16.05 crore on third day of its release. Releasing across more than 3000 screens in India, Varun Dhawan and Ali Bhatt starrer Hindi flick grossed a total income of Rs 43.05 crore in opening weekend. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#BadrinathKiDulhania Fri 12.25 cr, Sat 14.75 cr, Sun 16.05 cr. Total: ₹ 43.05 cr. India biz. EXCELLENT!”

Shashank Khaitan’s directorial project commenced its journey at box office with Rs 12.25 crore opening day collection. The celluloid witnessed hike in its box office income on next day and minted an amount of Rs 14.75 crore. The second installment of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania showcased more improvement in its performance at box office and registered a business of Rs 16.05 crore on third day of its release in India.
Apart from an overall business in domestic arena, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ film exhibited excellent performance in foreign countries. The movie grossed Rs 0.17 crore in New Zealand, Rs 0.23 crore in Australia, Rs 0.41 crore in United Kingdom and Rs 1.56 crore in north American countries (US and Canada). The celluloid bagged an overall collection of Rs 2.36 crore in overseas.
