Badrinath Ki Dulhania 21st Day Collection 3rd Thursday Occupancy Box Office Report

Produced under the banner of ‘Dharma Productions’, latest Bollywood movie ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ earned Rs 0.40 crore as its 21st day box office collection. The Hindi offering, which revolves around the love story of a young boy and girl, witnessed gradual drop in the theatre occupancy on day 21. Reporting a usual declination in the earnings on its third Thursday in Indian cinema, the film made a total business of Rs 111.04 crore in 21 days.

Hitting more than 3000 screens across India on 10th March, the Bollywood offering began its box office journey with a whopping first day collection of Rs 43.05 crore. After grossing a satisfactory amount in weekend days, the Hindi flick earned total amount of Rs 30.61 crore on the remaining seven days of the first week and minted an overall income of Rs 77.23 crore in seven days.

The second installment of ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ showcased stagnant performance in domestic arena in 2nd week and bagged a total amount of Rs 27.08 crore in next seven days. After completing two weeks in Indian cinema, the movie surpassed the 100-crore mark on 14th day and grabbed fourth rank in the list of highest grosser films on 2017. The celluloid raked a collection of Rs 100.39 crore in fourteen days.

Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan starrer flick didn’t stop at that stage as it continued to exhibit average performance on following days. Receiving a steady low response from audiences from 15th day to 21st day of its release, the Bollywood cinema grossed an overall income of Rs 9.95 crore in third week. Thus, the Hindi movie pocketed Rs 111.04 crore total box office collection in twenty one days.

Alongside bagging the handsome amount of profit in India, Shashank Khaitan’s directorial project performed well in the international market. Gaining a big response in the foreign countries, the Bollywood celluloid bagged Rs 12.3 crore in North American countries – United States and Canada, Rs 0.11 crore in Germany, Rs 1.39 crore in New Zealand, Rs 1.75 crore in Australia, Rs 0.04 crore in Malaysia, Rs 3.14 crore in United Kingdom and Rs 10.03 crore from rest of the world.
