Bollywood movie ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, which has been produced by Karan Johar’ grossed Rs 3.25 crore on 17th day of its release. The film reported a slight hike in the theatre occupancy on its third weekend and showcased a little growth in its business. Till now, the celluloid has garnered Rs 107.69 crore overall box office collection in seventeen days.
After kicking off the box office journey with Rs 43.05 crore opening weekend collection, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan starrer Hindi offering geared up its business and minted steady income in the first week. The celluloid registered a business of Rs 77.23 crore in opening week. The movie earned Rs 26.79 crore collection in second week of its release.
Witnessing a good response in the initial days of third week, Shashank Khaitan’s directorial venture registered a business of Rs 6.95 crore in third weekend. The film showcased massive growth in its business on 17th day (3rd Sunday) and bagged an overall income of Rs 107.69 crore total box office collection in 17 days. The celluloid is expected to enter 110-crore club by the end of third week.
Apart from the excellent performance in domestic arena, Varun and Alia’s movie performed superbly in international market. Exhibiting outstanding performance in the foreign countries, the Bollywood flick collected a business of Rs 26.10 crore. The movie received a good response from audiences in overseas and minted Rs 170.80 crore total worldwide box office collection in seventeen days.
