The Hindi film ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, which has been produced under the banner of ‘Dharma Productions’, grossed Rs 1.75 crore collection on 14th day. Reporting about 10 to 15% occupancy on its 2nd Thursday in Indian cinema, the celluloid witnessed usual drop in the response from audiences. Till now, the Bollywood offering has raked a total business of Rs 100.39 crore in domestic arena.
Entering the 100-crore successfully at the end of second week, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan starrer Hindi movie has been showcasing a steady performance in the cinema halls. The film witnessed about 9.7 % drop in the box office collection on day 14 and reported a fall in the earnings by Rs 0.19 crore margin. Yesterday, the movie had registered a business of Rs 1.94 crore.
Produced by Karan Johar, the second installment of ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ franchise has been exhibiting a stagnant performance at India’s box office since 8th day (start of second week). The film performed consistently in cinema halls and bagged a total business of Rs 26.79 crore in the second week. The film pocketed Rs 77.23 crore collection in the first week of its release.
Commencing the box office journey with Rs 12.25 crore opening day collection, the celluloid minted an income of Rs 43.05 crore in weekend days. The love story based offering continued to showcase a steady performance in week days and garnered an amount of Rs 17.26 crore in the remaining four days of opening week. Till now, Varun and Alia’s cinema has pocketed an overall worldwide collection of Rs 163.45 crore in fourteen days.
