The Hindi movie ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ collected Rs 1.94 crore on 13th day of its release in India. The romantic celluloid, which features gorgeous actress Alia Bhatt and actor Varun Dhawan in pivotal roles, grossed a total income of Rs 98.33 crore in thirteen days. The Bollywood offering is expected to enter the 100-crore club by the end of this week.
Surpassing the overall business earned by the film ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’, Shashank Khaitan’s directorial venture managed to earn a big collection at India’s box office. The offering, which has been produced by popular Indian filmmaker Karan Johar, started its box office journey with stunning 12.25 crore opening day collection on 10th March this year.
The love story based cinema has been grabbing a massive public attention in the cinema halls. With a whopping Rs 43.05 crore weekend collection, the Hindi cinema became third highest earner movie of this year. Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ and Akshay Kumar’s ‘Jolly LLB 2’ hold the first and second position in the chart of 2017’s highest grosser movies, respectively.
After earning a huge collection of Rs 73.66 crore in first week, the movie reported drop in its business in second week. The film garnered a revenue of Rs 17.26 crore in the weekend days and totalled an income of Rs 90.92 crore in ten days. On 11th day, the Hindi flick grossed Rs 2.72 crore. Witnessing a usual declination in the box office earnings, the celluloid collected Rs 2.45 crore on Tuesday (12th day of release).
The movie bagged a helm collection of Rs 96.39 crore in twelve days and reported a little fall in its business on 13th day. Showcasing slightly poor performance on day 13, Varun and Alia’s film pocketed Rs 1.95 crore collection on its 2nd Wednesday in Indian cinema. Apart from the admirable performance in domestic arena, the Bollywood flick gathered a total collection of Rs 26.07 crore in the international market.
