Famous Bollywood superstar Govinda starrer latest Hindi flick ‘Aa Gaya Hero’ showcased poor performance in the opening weekend. The movie reported 15% occupancy on first day of its release and minted Rs 0.25 crore collection on that day. The celluloid, which has been produced by Govinda himself, witnessed little growth in its business in weekend days and collected a total income of Rs 0.8 crore in three days.
The comeback movie of megastar Govinda was expected to have huge opening. Unfortunately, the box office clash with other Bollywood films – ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, ‘Trapped’ and ‘Machine’ ruined the business of ‘Aa Gaya Hero’. The family entertainer film couldn’t satisfy the filmmakers with its poor performance at India’s box office.
On other hand, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer film ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ raked a collection of Rs 5.17 crore on Saturday and showcased its outstanding performance. The movie still has a good hold in cinema halls and isn’t letting other cinemas to entice the spectators in theatres. Apart from its business in India, the celluloid has also grossed a good amount in overseas.
Govinda’s film was the much anticipated movie of this year and fans of the superstar were expecting the film to showcase excellent performance at box office. The celluloid expected to maintain consistency in collecting steady earnings in the first week. Trade analysts have predicted that the film might see growth in its business in coming days.
